Dr. Mitchell''s recommended books

for the last winter vacation.

I once commented about Dr. Mitchell in this web-blog.

He is such a good-minded, witty, and industrious professor, who shows much concern in various fields of English literature includingEnglish language and its history.

Also,he is aboxing maina. You can see a picture in his office which shows a boxer standing in a ring with his gloves on andother manknock down. (I once asked him, "the loser is you?")

Now I often see this boxer at some discussions and conferences held in campus, and in each time wonder that his white hair and wrinkled face cannot affecthis study.

Though we do not meetregularly since I have got a new research assistantship for another professor, his presence and greeting, like that of grandfather, makes me relaxed.

So, did I read these all? No, not yet, hahaha-..-;;;

But I put them here to remember the book titles and also the encouragement and appreciation of Dr. Mitchell.

Hmm, seeminglyfunny books...
